Description
Battle Merchant - Basin Hood Hound's Hood
The "Hundsgugel" is a variation of the late medieval bascinet helmet. Until about 1420, the "Hundsgugel" was the preferred helmet shape among knights and warriors. The distinctive design of the visor gave this helmet its name "Hundsgugel" (dog hood/dog head) and led to its widespread distribution throughout Central Europe
Our helmet is based on a Milanese helmet from the 1390th century. Manufactured from elaborately crafted and riveted armor steel with brass embellishments.
The helmet features a movable, detachable visor and has a comfortable leather lining as well as a leather chin strap
