This basin hood (also known as a kettle hat or bascinet helmet) is a reconstruction based on a discovery from around 1370. The original is located at the Valeria Museum, Sion (Switzerland). The helmet is made of 2 mm thick steel sheet, handcrafted, riveted, and welded, ensuring great protection in combat due to its robustness
