Description
Battle Merchant - Broken Back Sax Viking Seax Knife Carbon Steel
This handcrafted Viking Age seax knife, known for its distinctive blade shape, is also gebrochener Rücken Called Sax, it features a sharp blade made of carbon steel and a handle made of wood and bone with a brass ferrule and pommel. The cap has a practical eyelet for attaching a lanyard or for easy removal of the knife from the sheath (leather cord included). Please note that bones and wood are natural products, and variations in color and/or grain are quite normal. Therefore, with this Viking Sax, no handle is like the other, and the above illustrations are for exemplary purposes only.
The short sax comes with a beautiful sheath made of vegetable-tanned, hand-dyed leather with richly decorated brass fittings. The carrying system consists of two carrying rings, a strap distributor, and three leather straps. During the Viking Age, carrying systems of this kind were widespread. The belt distributor was used to distribute the individual belts in such a way that the sword, or. the sax knife could be carried on the belt at an optimal angle for quick withdrawal from the sheath.
The blade is sharp and fully functional. Therefore, this Skramasax is not suitable for stage combat and is only intended as a collector's item. Designed decoration object!
