Marto - Crane Wakizashi
Description
Marto - Crane Wakizashi
The Wakizashi, the weapon of honorable people in feudal Japan, could also be carried by socially respected citizens, while the Katana remained reserved for the Samurai. The small sword was worn on the obi and was more advantageous in close combat than the long sword. The short sword was also used for ritual suicide or for decapitating a slain enemy
Katana and Wakizashi formed a sword pair called Daisho
The highly decorative samurai sword comes from the exclusive collection "Oriental Weapons" by Marto
