The blades of the Fudo Prestige series have a core layer made of VG110, one of the best knife steels currently on the market. This one is very corrosion-resistant, with approx. 60° Rockwell very hard and retains its exceptional sharpness for a very long time. With 33 layers of damask on each side, the core is protected, resulting in a total of 67 layer. The handle is made of fine bamboo wood, the cheeks and end cap are made of stainless steel. Bamboo has a hardness comparable to oak and is also extremely tough and resilient. The traditional chestnut-shaped handle provides a secure and ergonomic grip.
