Description
Forge de Laguiole - Laguiole Tradition Juniper 12
The home of the globally renowned Laguiole knives is in Thiers, a small town in the French Auvergne region famous for its cutlery for the past 2500500 years. Originally inspired by folding knives from Andalusia, the elegant knives with the famous bee, the Napoleonic emblem, have been crafted there in various forms for generations. Ideal for daily use, these knives are constant companions of their proud owners and have now become an expression of French lifestyle
Only the finest juniper wood is used for the handmade handle scales. The individually forged and hardened blade made of T12 is rustproof and has a matte satin finish. The traditional slipjoint pocket knife is opened with a nail nick. The steel has a hardness of 57 to 58 HRC, making the blade very durable and maintaining its sharpness for several years on average. The circuit boards and jaws are made of stainless steel and also satin-finished
