Böker - Core Walnut Boning Knife
What do Trier, Wiesbaden, Münster, and Lüneburg have in common?? In addition to historic city centers, regional attractions, and a long tradition as important trading cities, above all: They host excellently managed steel goods dealers who have made a name for themselves over many years with a wide range of products and high expertise in advice and consultation
We have taken advantage of decades of experience, excellent know-how, and a daily proven sense for the requirements and needs of cooking and kitchen enthusiasts, and together with our almost 150 years of experience as a Solingen knife manufacturer, we have incorporated them into the product development of the Böker Core Series. The result is a product that more than deserves the label "Recommended by leading specialist retailers" due to its dynamic design, excellent handling, and breathtaking cutting capabilities
The solid blade blank made of the Chrome-Molybdenum-Vanadium alloy (X50CrMoV15), excellent for high-quality kitchen knives, is further optimized in structure through the elaborate forging process in Solingen craftsmanship and then hardened to 658 HRC. For a longer blade life and an even finer cutting edge, the traditional hand sharpening method used by us is additionally high-gloss polished
The forged bolster provides a secure grip at all times and protects against possible injuries in case of slipping. As a special design feature, the back of the blade is gently rounded on all knives in this series. So the knife lies comfortably in the hand in every grip position and prevents an uncomfortable pressure feeling in the hand even with stronger pressure on the blade back during rocking cuts. The beautifully grained and perfectly proportioned walnut wood handles complete the harmonious overall picture
I particularly like the absolute focus on functionality of the Böker Core kitchen knife series. The design is very pleasing - not overloaded - and, due to the clean finish between the forged bolster and the walnut wood handle, also meets our expectations from a hygienic point of view

"Domestic woods such as the walnut wood used in this series are becoming increasingly popular and can be found in many trendy kitchen accessories.". We support the use of local materials and products that are still made in traditional Solingen craftsmanship
