Description
Cold Steel - Mizutori Crane Katana
In Japan, the crane is a very popular symbol for luck, longevity, loyalty, and strength. When developing a new katana sword for the well-established, world-renowned range of Japanese blades, Cold Steel® saw it as obvious to enrich the collection with the motif of the crane
The Mizutori® (Crane) The Katana is a high-performance luxury sword inspired by older models designed for battlefield use. The blade of the Mizutori® is made of high-quality 1095er carbon steel and has been differentially hardened using clay, creating a hardened line (Hamon). This beautiful blade has been hand-sharpened and features a Hamaguri grind. The two sides of the blade as well as the spine have been polished to a high gloss. The tsuba and menuki are decorated with a motif of the symbolic crane, and the handle covered with high-quality ray skin is tightly wrapped with brown silk cord. This provides even more depth of detail and gives the sword an incredibly beautiful appearance.
This stunningly beautiful sword, which comes with a saya painted in shiny black, undoubtedly deserves a place of honor in your collection!
