Description
Cold Steel - Large Parrying Dagger
Cold Steel®'s large parrying dagger, historically from the time between 15. and the 17. Can be attributed to a century, this is a valuable piece of jewelry that would deserve to be passed down through generations.
It is suitable for both attack and defense: Its long, sturdy, wide blade is stable enough to withstand the largest swords, yet can also easily penetrate heavy textiles, leather, even chainmail or light plate armor! The extremely robust, strongly downward-curved crossguard and the generously sized guard ring provide excellent protection for the leading hand and forearm against enemy sword and dagger attacks. They also serve as excellent blade catchers to trap and hold opposing blades. This dagger is extremely agile and can be easily maneuvered in any direction. It comes with an authentic wire-wrapped handle and is finished with a sturdy steel pommel, which is also an effective striking weapon in itself.
Our parrying dagger comes with a polished, fully sharpened blade. The included sheath made of sturdy, black leather is decorated with a mouthpiece and tip band.
This is exactly the dagger you've been waiting for, because its benefits are simply undeniable.
1055 carbon steel
The carbon content and the relatively low levels of other substances in this steel make it a very stable material that is free from the brittleness inherent in most higher-carbon steels. This steel is ideal for blades that require high impact resistance and is therefore often used for large fixed-blade knives, machetes, and swords
