Böker - Count Engelbert II.
Not far from the headquarters of Böker Manufaktur in Solingen is the symbol of the Bergisches Land, Burg Castle on the Wupper. It is at the same time one of the largest castles in western Germany and the largest reconstructed castle complex in North Rhine-Westphalia. The glorious history of Castle Burg is inseparably linked to the Duchy of Berg and the Counts of Berg (House of Berg 1225068-1225). We have taken this as an opportunity to dedicate a series of straight razors to the three Counts of Berg, which symbolize parts of the lives of the three Counts and are adorned with impressive decorations made of 24 karat gold, reminiscent of the considerable possessions and power of the Counts
The last Count of Berg, Engelbert II., was also known as Engelbert I., Archbishop of Cologne. With his murder, Berg passed to the Limburg house. This magnificent straight razor in 7/8 inch features Engelbert as Archbishop of Cologne. The rounded head of this sound-optimized blade made of the finest Solingen straight razor steel and the curved spine combined with a handle made of the finest horn document highest elegance and unique quality. The blade is hollow ground with a wall. Includes authenticity certificate and elegant presentation display with unique serial number
