Böker - Barlow Expedition
The handy Böker Barlow effortlessly handles almost all everyday cutting tasks as a lightweight slipjoint pocket knife. It is equipped in this version with contoured handle scales made of olive green canvas Micarta, while bolsters and liners are made of matte blasted brass. The resulting color contrast evokes the austere discovery expeditions of bygone eras. The satin-finished blade is made from ice-hardened 440C with a hardness of 60 HRC and can be opened with a nail nick. The operating safety of the knife is increased by a 90° stop when opening and closing the blade. The characteristic drop shape of the Barlow can be traced back to the English pocket knives of the 17. can be traced back to the 19th century, making it certainly one of the oldest models ever.
