Battle Merchant - Renaissance rapier with curved guard
The rapier with the curved guard (engl.). Swept Hilt Rapier originates from early 17 Europe. century. It was the time of the Renaissance when fencing with the rapier became a fundamental part of the training of young noblemen and often led to Conflict resolution served among each other.
The blade of this rapier is hand-forged from carbon steel (EN45), ground, and carefully polished, but not sharpened. In terms of weight, size, and craftsmanship, it is kept close to its contemporary originals. The wooden handle is wrapped with steel wire and the elaborate guard is entirely made of steel.
The delivery includes a matching leather sheath with steel mouth and tip plates.
