This Roman soldier helmet (also known as Helmet or Blackcurrant (bekannt) is a simplified, downsized replica of a so-called. Imperial Gallic helmet of the Weisenau type (Imperial Gallic Weisenau) from the 1. / 2. century AD. Characteristic features for this particular type of helmet included (among others) the pronounced eyebrows, the brow band, and the circular brass decorative rosettes.
